Synopsis
In a Japan perpetually besieged by monstrous Kaiju, Kafka Hibino cleans up the aftermath as a member of a monster disposal crew. After a freak accident transforms him into the very creature he fights against, Kafka must conceal his identity as Kaiju No. 8 while striving to finally join the Defense Force alongside his admired friend, Mina Ashiro. When a cunning, intelligent Kaiju launches a devastating assault, Kafka is forced to risk everything, facing the ultimate choice between revealing his secret power and allowing destruction to prevail.
